Large bronze signal cannon, Spanish colonial, 16th-17th century, found in Peru.
A very sturdy and heavy (over 6 pounds, 4" tall and in diameter) upright "mini-cannon" that was used either for
signaling or powder-testing, very rustic in design but now attractively (darkly) patinated, with touchhole near flat base. |

(collection of debt). Written in a neater, tighter style than the earlier
documents, this 2-page (1 sheet) document deals with collecting on a
personal debt in Potosi and is signed by Diego Decossio, 8-1/2" x 12-1/2",
good condition (just a little faded).

1759 Spanish colonial document from Bolivia
(last will and testament) with Royal seals of Ferdinand VI. This 8-page (4
sheets) document is a lengthy will for Don Manuel Ximenez, leaving parcels
of land to family members and dividing other goods (even donating some items
to the church), written in small, neat script with two seals near top of one
side of each page (like colonial doc stamps), good condition (some folds and
foxing), 8-1/4" x 12". |
