Just like any business, we have had a few accounts go bad over the years. Rather than spend money pursuing these deadbeats in court, we decided it would be better to publicize their misdeeds here, for the whole world to see. So far as we know, each and every one of these people is still alive, although maybe not still at the last-known address. If any of them happens to be your neighbor, your customer, or your mother's cousin's stepfather's uncle's grandson...please put in a word for us, or at least be warned not to deal with them. In some cases we may even offer a reward if the account is eventually paid as a result of your efforts. If you are one of the people named below, be advised that the only way to remove yourself from this page is to PAY UP!

In addition there are several individuals who have bid in our auctions but did not pay. We will not publish their names and information here, because they are not technically deadbeats in the sense that they did not ever receive goods without paying. However, any auction non-payers should be advised that their names and information are shared with dozens of other auction companies worldwide, with whom these non-payers will never be allowed to bid again, and also with part-time and full-time dealers as well as advanced collectors. If you bid in an auction, you are committed to buying what you win--before you decide not to pay for your commitment, ask yourself: Is it worth being banned from auctions and shunned by suppliers forever?

CRAWFORD, JOSEPH S., IV. $1661.59 (plus additional interest) unpaid since May 6, 2008. Last known address (possibly still good) was P.O. Box 100351, Palm Bay, FL 32910. Phone now disconnected. Email was macvso64557@yahoo.com UPDATE: Received a call from him 1/31/09 saying he would pay. But of course he never did.
 

KINGERY, J.B. (Jean). $1,356 (plus interest) unpaid since August 11, 2004. Took delivery of a large lot of religious medallions but never paid. Last known address was 1865 South Grade Road, Alpine, CA 91901-3109, but I also have a company name/address of Shumup Ko Hup, California Indian Art, 2720½ Calhoun St., San Diego, CA 92110. Phone is/was (619) 445-1890, also (619) 297-1930. Email is JBK3@COX.NET. This customer claimed to have sent a cashier's cheque but never offered a receipt or any proof that he had sent such a cheque, which we are sure he never did.
 

KAISERMAN, S.W. (Stuart). $42 (plus interest) unpaid since May 18, 2005. Took delivery of a shipwreck stoneware bottle but never paid. Last known address was P.O. Box 114, Highland Park, IL 60035, but we also have an old company address of Lakeshore Property Maintenance Co. Inc., 1640 N. Wells St., Ste. 207, Chicago, IL 60614-6002, as well as 224 Park Ave., Highland Park, IL 60035. Phone is/was (847) 302-4518 (cellular), also (847) 432-6794 (home) and some old numbers of (312) 266-5600 and (312) 266-1380 (fax). No email. This guy used to come to the CICF show in Chicago, and we know he had some health problems, but postal receipts show his address is still valid and he appears to be ignoring the bill (probably because it is so small).

UPDATE: Other people have come forward about this guy from the real estate management industry and have told us he is a swindler there too, and he was fined for practicing real estate with an expired license (permanently revoked).
