While you may browse
the lots on our regular website, you now have two options for bidding: In
addition to the normal online bidding at www.icollector.com/sedwick, we are
simultaneously hosting the auction at
www.auction.sedwickcoins.com , where you can browse the lots and bid
on the fly. In order to bid online, however, you must first open an account in
iCollector AND ALSO register for approval to bid FOR THIS AUCTION at
www.icollector.com/sedwick Once you are registered and you are
viewing the lot you want, simply click to bid and put in your maximum amount.
ICollector will automatically reduce your high bid to the next increment above
your current competition and will raise incrementally up to your maximum if and
when others bid against you. You can increase your maximum at any time by
clicking to bid again and putting in a higher number, and iCollector will simply
raise your maximum (you won't be "bidding against yourself"). During live
bidding, if your maximum is exceeded, you will NOT have time to put in a new
maximum UNLESS you get an "outbid notice" from iCollector by email.
REMEMBER this auction has no LIVE bidding so put your top maximum from the
start.
While bidding online via iCollector is easy aand fun, we do understand that many
people still prefer old-fashioned methods, and we are happy to accommodate, this
time since there is no printed catalog and not LIVE we are not taking phone bids
but we will take if you prefer bids via email or fax and we can enter these for
you. Just please consider the advantages of bidding online: total anonymity (no
other bidders can see your information), 100% security, instant notification if
you are outbid, and the ONLY way to be sure your bids are executed in time.
If you prefer to give us your bids to execute on your behalf, then please send
your bids by fax, mail or email with AT LEAST the following information: (1)
your complete name and shipping address; (2) method of payment (and deposit if
you are not an existing client and/or provide a credit card); and (3) any
total-budget.
How to register to bid online:
If you have previously set up an account with iCollector, login with your user
name and password from auction.sedwickcoins.com Or, create an Account within
iCollector.com/sedwick by clicking on the "Join" link. Once you have received
confirmation of your registration via email (this may happen almost instantly),
go
to auction.sedwickcoins.com and click on any of the "Get Approved to Bid" links
for each session. Fill out the simple form and you are registered to bid.
